Red Pulse Phoenix (PHX), launched in August 2018, replaced the original RPX token in a 1:1 token swap, introducing advanced features like Proof of Creation, Proof of Ownership, and IP protection. It powered the upgraded Phoenix platform, which used blockchain, machine learning, and NLP to connect research consumers with content creators in a decentralised, incentivised ecosystem. PHX tokens were used for content rewards, accessing premium insights, and staking to earn rewards. Developed by RP Technologies (Hong Kong) Limited, the PHX upgrade focused on regulatory compliance and transparency. The migration paved the way for later token expansions, including issuance on Binance Chain as PHB and the eventual transition to Phoenix Global (PHB) in 2021. PHX introduced staking, community events like the Phoenix Asia Tour, and a cloud-based knowledge network, establishing a more efficient and secure research ecosystem.
